Almond Lupin Squares
1 cup Lupin Flour
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ cup almond meal
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
90g butter, melted
1½ cup slivered almonds
3 eggs, lightly beaten
¼ cup firmly packedbrown sugar
¼ cup honey
100g milk chocolate melts, melted
Preheat oven to moderate
Grease/Line a 20cm x 30cm lamington tin
Combine flour, cinnamon, almond meal, sugar and butter in a bowl.
Press evenly into prepared pan. Bake in a moderate oven for 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
Reduce oven temperature to moderately slow.
Pour topping over base, sprinkle with slivered almonds.
Bake in oven for approx 40 minutes or until topping is set.
Cool in pan.
Refrigerate before cutting and store in refrigerator.
Combine egg, sugar and honey in bowl, stir in choc melts.
